HN FILM, s.r.o. was founded by Nela Schlaichertová in 2015 with the purpose of financing and producing films.

Following previous positions at Czech Television and the advertising company IP Praha, she pursued a long-term career in film financing, working primarily with BIO ILLUSION on projects such as Taming Crocodiles, Hell with Princess, In the Attic, Who Has a Birthday Today?, Milos Forman: What Doesn’t Kill You…, Waking Up Yesterday, How Poets Wait for a Miracle, and others.

She is co-producer of the film trilogy Garden Store, directed by Jan Hřebejk and produced by Viktor Tauš/FOG’N’DESIRE FILMS, and of the film My Story, which addresses the theme of domestic violence based on a true event. Together with Svatka Peschková, she produced the film Runaway Mum. With Jana Hojdová and Matěj Chlupáček, she is producer of The White Devil, an intimate portrait of Robert Richardson, Hollywood’s greatest cinematographic visionary.
