Runaway Mum

The heroine of the comedy Runaway Mum, Sylvie (Petra Hřebíčková), has a good position at an advertising agency, professional achievements, beautiful and well-behaved children, and a husband who is a well-known painter. At first glance: happiness. But is it really? Her boss Karel (Bob Klepl) has just landed her with a string of impossible tasks, the secondary school has called about yet another of her son's misdemeanors, and her husband Tomáš (Jaroslav Plesl) is, as usual, unreachable, because painting has not been going well for him in years. And everyone has grown accustomed to the fact that Sylvie will sort everything out, arrange everything, and pay for everything. Something suddenly breaks inside Sylvie, who always wanted to see the bright side of things. And that is precisely the moment when you feel like running away from it all.
